Construction Planning in Progress for New SDA School in Tripura, India

Two months ago, God finally opened the door for us to purchase land for a school in Tripura, India!

Since then, Gabriel Rupini, the young man who dreamed of starting this project, has been working hard to prepare for construction. Pasang Tamang, the director of the Manipur School, had the opportunity to visit Gabriel and share his experiences. Together they have been planning a possible layout of the school buildings with the assistance of an engineer.

Gabriel and the newly-formed school board recently had their first meeting to pray and discuss options for construction. Each board member is excited to be a part of this project.

Praying for the Tripura School project

The dream is to build a school with boarding facilities that will go through 12th grade. (Other schools in Tripura only go through 10th grade.) The school will have a classroom building, girls and boys dormitories, staff housing, and a church.

The project leads have spoken with a contractor who is creating a quote for the project. We will share more details about what the school will cost to build once we hear back from the contractor.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for this project so far! Please keep it in your prayers, especially for God's provision and His will to be done in the ongoing building preparations.
