It Is Written’s Ecuador Mission Trip to Guayaquil offers a transformative outreach opportunity from December 10–21, 2025 . Designed for a diverse team of 1 to 35 participants, this trip invites individuals and families to serve through evangelism, children’s ministry, medical outreach, and construction—all woven together under a heart for sharing the gospel.
Purpose & Outreach Scope
• Evangelism: Conduct meetings at five local churches—five team members will be selected to preach, supported by translators .
• Children’s Programs: Evening VBS-style sessions offering engaging Bible lessons.
• Medical Clinics: Health fair–style clinics addressing community wellness. Non‑medical volunteers assist in organization .
• Construction Projects: Light building and repair work to support church and clinic facilities.
Team Composition
Seeking:
~5 evangelism speakers (open to all willing to share, not necessarily experienced preachers)
~5 health talk presenters (medical background not required)
~5 children’s program leaders
Additional support volunteers for clinics, outreach, and construction .
Itinerary & Logistics
• Travel: Participants must arrive in Guayaquil (GYE) by December 10 and depart on or after December 21 .
• Accommodations & Meals: Lodging in local hotels with roommate-style rooms (option for private rooms at extra cost), all meals included in the package; bring extra snacks for dietary needs .
• In-Country Setup: Ground transport, insurance cover, and resources for clinics and evangelism are included .
• Passport & Entry: U.S. passport required; visas not needed. Ecuador operates on USD, electric outlets are types A/B—no adapters necessary .
Cost & Fees
Adults: $1,500 (includes lodging, meals, transport, insurance, mission materials, custom T‑shirt, and mission gift box) .
Children 8–14: $750; Ages 0–7: $175 (must room with a parent/chaperone) .
Deposit: $50 due upon registration; final payment by November 1, 2025 .
Add-ons: Airfare, personal expenses ($200–400 recommended), and baggage fees.

Registration & Preparation

Following registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email, then Zoom briefings, travel booking guidance, vaccination/medical checklists, and packing advice.
Butler Travel (Oregon) is available to assist with flight arrangements for a small fee .
For medical concerns, check CDC guidelines and consult your physician 4–6 weeks before departure .
Cancellation may qualify for a refund if done early; a 25% fee applies once accommodations or services are booked .
